A BOOK IN ENGLISH ABOUT GLASS
A translation of the
book "Boken om glas" is aimed at.
Since "Boken
om glas" is held in high esteem by Swedish readers from the
glass industry, from schools and from the public generally, we decided
to translate it into English.
The English title is “An Introduction to Glass - The craft, science
and technology of glassmaking”.
The principal target group of the book are glassworkers and students
at glass schools. However, it is also useful for anyone wanting to know
more about glass, and especially the Swedish glass manufacture.
Great care has been taken to write a book that is easily read and profusely
illustrated. A large index makes it easy to look up different glass
words and concepts.
