SP Group
From 1 July 2008 Glafo is part of SP, the Technical Research Institute of Sweden.

SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden consists of eight technical departments and six subsidiary companies: CBI, Glafo, JTI, SIK, SMP and YKI.

CBI Swedish Cement and Concrete Research Institute creates and brings into practice knowledge within the fields of concrete, aggregate, cement and natural stone. This is done by research and development, consulting assignments, manufacturing control together with technology transferring, education and information.

JTI Swedish Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering is an industrial research institute engaged in research, development and information in the areas of agricultural engineering and environmental technology.

SIK Swedish Institute for Food and Biotechnology performs strategic and applied research into foodstuffs and biotechnology within the framework of an industrially determined, targeted research program, and also as part of joint industrial projects.

SMP Svensk Maskinprovning a single company for impartial testing, recurrent inspection and certification.

YKI Institute for Surface Chemistry, is the leading international industrial research institute in the fields of applied surface and colloidal chemistry.

UNIVERSITIES
- Linnaeus University
We have a close relationship with the Lennaeus University in Växjö. Glafo moved to the university campus in the summer of 2004. Read about it in the article here (pdf-format). Glafo and Växjö University cooperate in many research projects. The Glafo staff have participated in the development of courses and the students sometimes have laboratory work at Glafo.
